3ScoopsFramedWe start by importing the most sought-after lots of premium grade beans from the top coffee growers around the world including South America, Africa and Indonesia.  The climate, growing conditions, and processing methods vary from region to region and as a result, each type of bean has its own set of very unique characteristics. Therefore, no two coffees can be roasted the same.

The roasting process is what produces the signature flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to expand and to change in color, taste, density, and aroma. 

Roasting is our “special sauce” and we’ve spent years perfecting each coffee's optimum roast profile to achieve the perfect cup of coffee. Each Caffé Luca blend is roasted in our own roasting facility in Seattle, WA. Many roasters tend to over roast their beans to get a dark, rich roast. Not us. We roast our coffee in carefully controlled, small 45lb batches which allow us to optimize the time, temperature, and packaging. This ensures that every bag of coffee is our best and preserved for optimal freshness at all times.

Caffé Luca takes pride in our ability to leverage generations of experience to deliver a variety of gourmet, Italian-style blends.  This experience also allows Caffé Luca the opportunity to roast proprietary made-to-order blends for customers wanting their own signature blend.
